City, you are cracking me up. So, tell me how you got these shots? Salt lick? :) Passed thru Bend on Wednesday, Hot. Camped at LaPine, Hot. Drove south, hot. Back in the valley on Friday, ugly, cloudy, loud.

HAHAHA We get the occasional Kangaroo jumping down our street!

But if one of those things came running towards me I'd probably shit myself! xx

Wow. These pics are amazing.

The deer here tend to bounce in front of your car and off again faster than you can blink never mind take photos.

By the end of the month these guys wont let me near them, hunting season starts and they are no where to be found.

Hey Ken,

Stopped over to visit! Thanks 4 stoppin' by my blog, too!! Always nice to meet new bloggers and discover their blogs! GiGGLes is AWESOME!!! Anyhow... I'm in a non-photo taking mode so if you like pictures--- go to my older posts (check the archives because normally, my blog is ALL about photos!!) Love the nature shots of the elk, too! I LOVE animals!!

wonderful pictures of a beutiful animal. I just cannot understand why people call it a "SPORT" to shoot them.

Ken Duck Geraths said...

I shoot them... with the camera, that big buck last year was a three point, just look at him now. I love there meat, and will eat it at anytime. but I'm not shooting them with anything but a camera. I have a brother and a father that will keep me in meat. they don't shoot for sport they shoot for meat. I believe in humting them, just not waisting them.
