Spring has sprung

The wood chucks are out and looking like they over slept!

But this guy...... He is a whole new story. I had never seen him or any duck like him. So I had to get a few shots and go look him up in my bird books. Nope I couldn't find it? In one book it did not surprise me but the other one I was a little surprised. So I did what I always do when this happens. I sent the picture to my father and gave him a try. Well sure enough my father looked at it and sent me a name but wasn't sure it was right either. So I went on a search and my father was real close, This is a American Wigeon. I could not find anything on them here in Oregon but they are found in Washington (not DC Jag)

Now she thinks I need my eyes checked! Just because I think she is a good looking lady. Well let me set her straight!

I just spent a small fortune getting my eyes checked and 3 new pair of glasses. And I only have one bad eye ( and I had it closed when I was looking) I now where my glasses all the time they are open (and some of the time there not)
So any of my readers that want to check my eye sight just pop over to her blog (its listed to the right) and check her out. Oh and she does like to be stalked!

Okay here are some more... I can't stop!

Okay left to right we have Sarah (my daughter) Connie (my X) Terry (my sister) And the main man Gabe (my grandson)

My sister took most of these and in this one she says he is part frog? I'm sure there is more to it and I want to know! don't you. Well come on Terry tell us!

Gabe takes after grandpa, he can take some good pictures too. He took this one of his great uncle Dave. Not to bad for a kid under the age of 3!

Gabe is always happy when there is food around, and there was a lot of it last night from what I hear.

Okay, so I'm crazy about him but thats okay with me!

Now there might be a cuter kid somewhere in the world but I have my doubts. My sister and her husband have been out traveling the country for what seems like for ever. And they have ended up at my daughters place. Of course I had to beg and plead and cry to get her to go see them....NOT! Gabe here is the first grandchild in the family, so he demands attention. Are at least he gets a lot of it.

Mom (Sarah) The man (Gabe) and last but no way the least his Dad (Anthony) No if you look close you can see the beginning's of a couple black eyes on little Gabe. He did and I quote "A face plant" earlier in the day!

And I think it messed up his sleeping schedule lol.

I have begged my sister for some of her with my grandson so some time tonight I should have them.... I also informed my daughter to get some of them also, she's a good kid and does as she is

told.

Now I would love to claim he got this from me, but that would be the biggest lie I ever told. (I can't dance a lick) I don't mean I have 2 left feet, then I could claim some talent. No I have no rhythm on my feet! But his grandma can cut a rug, in fact she is the best dancer I have ever met... yes she is my X but that changes nothing when it comes to dancing. I use to take her out just to watch her. So he got that from her, but EVERYTHING else is from me. lol
