It made moms day, this is the newest of my nephews children. She has a name but silly me forgot what it was, I know it starts with an "M" so that's what we will call her today.

Birds come to visit

This guy was a real party pooper! he chased all the guys & gals below away. He just came swooping in and I just got this fleating picture of him as he took off (Redtailed hawk)

This is a cedar waxwing (female)

The bigger birds are Robins, the one with a little color in the middle is a female evening grosbeak

The others are cidar waxwings And I think they are all female also.

This is a male evening grosbeak. I had more pictures but silly me didn't think to check the settings on my camera and they didn't turn out so good.

47 years ago today (nope not my b-day)

A storm hits Oregon with 120 mph winds, and you can see what happened in this photo.
That my mother, my sister and the little guy in there is me. My oldest memory is of playing in the street in a pile of limbs.
