That's right they got there star! And are now on the Hollywood walk of fame! Those of you who have been reading my blog for awhile will know that I have been a RUSH fan for like 34 years. So when I received the email about this I was, well lets say pleased! Way to go Geddy, Alex and Neil.
Just 20 feet of Raspberry bushes, and look what I've gotten in just one week.

See there, that's where I hit a tree branch...it left a dent in my helmet! Not to mention rang my bell and made my neck hurt for days! Okay now here is the deal, they say when you fall (of hit a fricking tree) you should replace your helmet, but the say even if you don't hit your head, because there can be damage to the helmet you can't see. So if you CAN see where there is damage then I'm pretty sure it should be tossed! So here is the new one, I'm a cheap S.O.B. so I wont spend $90 bucks on a helmet that says "Giro" on it, but I will spend $20 on one that says "Bell" and has the same safety rating!
And just look it is that special color that will go good with my bike!
Mom and dad are on a short trip and I'm in charge of picking the raspberry's... Yes mother I am watering the flowers also.... But I want a big jar of jam out of the deal....YUMMY
Three is the number! Yup that's three thousand three hundred thirty three point three miles on the bike. Now just guess what my favorite number is? Nope its 3. You know like Jesus was 33 when put on the cross, he was there for three days then put in his tomb and three days later rose and walked the earth for three days. Or how many does it take to make a family? 3 that's how many. How many band members are in the band RUSH? 3 again. Then there is Peter, Paul and Mary the three stooges the list goes on, but the miles on my bike were the last goal I had for my bike. I will have to try and come up with another one are two, I'm not ready to get a new bike and start all over just yet.
He turned three yesterday, these are old photo's (his mother hasn't sent me any new ones for a while ( hint,hint)). He and I had a good chat we did our ABC's and he told me he loved me! He isn't much of a phone talker so I was tickled pink. He is growing by leaps and bounds. Man am I getting old....
At 6:35 am one year ago today I put out my last cigarette, and I haven't touched one since. No stop smoking aids nothing just cold turkey. I did it for myself and it seems to have pleased everyone I know. Now if I can lose the 15 pounds I gained it would be perfect!

This kid just keeps ending up in my pictures.... whats a guy to do?
This is before we started skipping rocks, she has a swim suit on under that.... So she thought she would take her shorts off so she could get deeper in the water and not get her shorts wet. Well to make a long story short, by the time she had her shorts off the only thing she had dry WAS her swim suit. Way to funny in my book, I would of gotten picture to go with this story but I was in the water also and I wasn't taking my camera in with me..... see it doesn't run in the family.
Suttle lake is 5 miles around, and just a nice place to go.

Then I had her stand in front of these hand carved doors to the lodge at Suttle lake. A good friend of my brothers did the work, the detail is just GREAT!
I wish my nieces would stop growing up,
I only have three of them and they are all the best!
The other two will be here for the 4th, I will of course be taking to many pictures of them. Neither one of my nephews will be here but you can't have everything....(So they say?)
